Sand-Ex is a specially developed supplementary feed that optimally supports your horse's digestive system - especially when it is kept on sandy soils or heavily grazed pastures. With the natural active ingredient bentonite, Sand-Ex helps to bind and excrete accumulated sand and dirt from the digestive tract, thereby preventing digestive problems and sand colic.
Why Sand-Ex?
The bentonite clay it contains reliably binds sand particles in the intestine and supports their safe excretion.
To prevent sand colic: Reduces the risk of sand accumulation in the digestive tract and contributes to healthy intestinal function.
To support horses kept on sandy soils or heavily grazed pastures.
Large horses: 50 g per animal per day twice daily with concentrate feed.
Ponies/small horses: 25 g per animal per day twice daily.
For at least 7 days, but ideally as a course of treatment over 4 to 6 weeks.
Due to the higher content of Vit. A, D3 and trace elements compared to complete feeds, this supplementary feed may only be fed to horses up to 100 g per animal per day.
