For sensitive horses, we recommend mixing very small amounts of zinc into the feed and slowly increasing the amount to the recommended daily dose. Your horse's favorite food, such as applesauce, bananas, malt beer, muesli, beet pulp, or mash, is suitable for this. Within a few days, most horses, even sensitive ones, usually get used to the smell and taste.
